Thermal sensing prototype
A compact sensor board developed to combine thermal detection and supporting electronics in a single test platform.
Drop in an STL or OBJ and watch it render in your browser. We measure the real geometry, estimate material and machine time, and quote it live as you tweak settings — no email tag, no waiting.
The quoting engine reads your mesh directly — the numbers below are computed from real geometry, not guessed from a bounding box.
Drag in an STL or OBJ. It stays in your browser until you order.
We triangulate the mesh and compute true volume, surface area and bounds.
Material, colour, layer height, infill and finish — the price updates live.
Pay once or set a recurring run. UK VAT and invoice included.
Send a drawing and dimensions; we build a clean, printable CAD model.

Dapper3D provides professional 3D printing, prototyping and product-development support. You can upload a suitable 3D model to receive an instant price for printing, or submit a service request for projects that require design assistance, model preparation, technical review or a more customised quotation.
When you upload a supported 3D model, our system analyses factors such as the model’s size, material usage, selected print settings and delivery requirements. Your price is calculated before checkout, so you can review the cost before placing your order.
Instant pricing is subject to a final technical review to confirm that the model can be manufactured safely and successfully.
Depending on the requirements of your project, we may offer materials including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU and Nylon.
Material availability, colours and suitable print settings may vary. Some materials are better suited to strength, flexibility, heat resistance, outdoor use or detailed visual models. The available options for an instant order will be displayed during the ordering process.
For instant pricing and online orders, we currently support common printable 3D model formats such as STL and OBJ.
Files in other formats, including CAD or design-source files, may be submitted through a service request. We will review the files and advise whether conversion, repair or additional preparation is required.
Your file is checked for compatibility, basic model integrity and security. You can then select the available material, print and delivery options before reviewing your price.
After payment, the model will receive a production review. We will contact you if we identify an issue that could affect printability, strength, appearance or the successful completion of the order.
Yes. You can submit a service request describing what you would like to create and upload any sketches, reference images, measurements or existing files.
We will review the project and may provide recommendations, request additional information or prepare a customised quotation for the required design and production work.
For instant 3D-printing orders, payment is taken securely when you complete checkout and confirm the order.
For bespoke design, development or service requests, you will not be charged simply for submitting an enquiry. Where payment is required, you will receive a quotation or payment request for review before work begins.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
We may be able to make changes before production begins. Once materials have been allocated, design work has started or the item has entered production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible or may involve additional costs.
Because most products are made to the customer’s specifications, cancellation rights may be limited once production has started. Our Terms and Conditions provide further information.
Production time depends on the model’s size, complexity, material, quantity and current production capacity. An estimated timeframe will be provided where possible during checkout or after your project has been reviewed.
Delivery time is separate from production time and depends on the selected delivery service and destination. Complex or bespoke projects may require a longer lead time.
We aim to reproduce your model accurately, but 3D printing is a physical manufacturing process and may produce visible layer lines, support marks, seams or small dimensional variations.
The final appearance and accuracy can also be affected by the selected material, print orientation, wall thickness and model geometry. Parts requiring precise tolerances, mechanical fitting or a particular surface finish should be clearly identified when ordering.
No. The suitability of a printed part depends on its material, design, print orientation, operating environment and intended use.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, our parts should not be assumed to be certified for medical, safety-critical, food-contact, high-temperature, structural or other regulated applications. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the design and selected material are appropriate for the intended use.
Yes. We can produce one-off prototypes, replacement parts, presentation models and small production runs.
For larger quantities, repeat orders or ongoing business requirements, submit a service request so that we can review the project, production requirements and potential volume pricing.
You retain ownership of the files and designs you provide, subject to any rights held by their original creator or another third party.
By uploading a file, you confirm that you have permission to use it and to instruct us to manufacture the requested item. Dapper3D will only use your files as necessary to assess, quote, produce, support and administer your order, except where you separately give us permission to use the work for another purpose.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect customer accounts, uploaded files, order information and payment-related data.
Access to customer information is restricted to authorised systems, personnel and service providers where required to operate the platform and fulfil orders. Uploaded files may also be automatically checked for compatibility and potentially harmful content.
Payments are processed through a specialist payment provider, and Dapper3D does not directly store your full card details. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
We will not intentionally publish a customer’s private design or project as a portfolio example without permission.
Where we would like to feature a completed project, image or case study, we will request the customer’s consent and agree what information may be shown.
Contact us promptly with your order details, a description of the problem and clear photographs where appropriate.
We will review the issue against the submitted model, selected options and agreed project requirements. Where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly produced or does not meet the agreed specification, we will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include correction, replacement or another suitable remedy.
Normal characteristics of 3D printing, or problems caused by the original design, incorrect measurements, unsuitable material selection or intended use, may not constitute a manufacturing fault.
If we identify a significant issue before production, we may place the order on hold and contact you with an explanation.
Depending on the issue, we may recommend repairing the model, changing the material, adjusting the dimensions or submitting a bespoke service request. If we cannot reasonably proceed with a paid order, we will explain the available options, including any applicable refund.
Available delivery destinations and shipping options will be shown during the ordering process. Delivery availability, cost and estimated transit time may vary depending on the destination, parcel size and selected service.
Customers ordering internationally are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes or customs charges unless stated otherwise during checkout.
You can contact us through the website’s contact form or submit a service request for assistance with a particular project.
For questions about an existing order, include your order or request reference so that we can locate the relevant information quickly.

Dapper 3D Prints is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our order, service-request, payment, contact and live-chat workflows. Our correspondence address is 11 Ibstone Avenue, Milton Keynes MK13 8EA. Privacy enquiries can be submitted through the Contact us form.
We may collect account and contact details, delivery and billing information, order and service-request records, uploaded model and project files, payment references and limited payment-method information supplied by Stripe, support messages, live-chat content, technical security logs, and your communication and privacy preferences.
We use personal information to create and manage accounts, calculate and review quotations, validate uploaded models, manufacture and deliver products, provide design and engineering services, process payments, send transactional messages, respond to enquiries, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain platform security, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our services.
Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform and supporting customers, and consent where required, including for optional live chat technologies and marketing communications.
Model files are previewed and measured in your browser before submission. When you submit an order or service request, files are uploaded to private cloud storage and processed for validation, malware scanning, quoting, production and support. You should upload only files you are authorised to use. Uploaded model files and service-request attachments are scanned before staff download and production handling.
We use specialist providers to operate the platform, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, storage and hosting; Stripe for payment processing; our transactional email provider; Google Analytics for optional site measurement and conversion reporting; and Crisp for optional live chat. These providers process information under their own terms and data-protection arrangements. Some processing may take place outside the United Kingdom using recognised transfer safeguards.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected. Current operational targets are: unsuccessful quotes for around 30 days; transactional-email queue records for around 30 days; contact enquiries for up to 12 months unless an active customer or project relationship requires longer; model and project files for up to 24 months to support production, quality issues and authorised reprints; and order, payment, tax and accounting records for the period required by law. Security records may be retained for a shorter or longer period where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information, and may withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Essential technologies are used for authentication, security, payment and preference storage. Google Analytics and Crisp live chat are optional and are not loaded until you enable them through Cookie settings. You can change those preferences at any time.
We may update this notice as the platform, suppliers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be highlighted on the website or communicated where appropriate.

These terms apply when you use the Dapper 3D Prints website, request a quotation, order a 3D-printed product, commission design or electronics services, upload files, or use customer support. Dapper 3D Prints operates from 11 Ibstone Avenue, Milton Keynes MK13 8EA.
Browser-generated prices are estimates. A binding price is the trusted price locked by our backend or the written service quote accepted by you. Submitting an order request does not by itself create an obligation for us to manufacture. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance and, where payment is required in advance, payment is successfully confirmed.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use and manufacture from every file, design, trade mark, image and instruction you provide. You remain responsible for dimensions, intended use, tolerances, material choice and regulatory requirements unless we expressly agree in writing to provide engineering verification for those matters.
You must not submit unlawful, infringing, dangerous or deceptive content, including controlled weapons or components, counterfeit goods, malicious files, or products whose manufacture or supply would breach applicable law. We may decline, suspend or cancel work where we reasonably identify legal, safety, intellectual-property or technical concerns.
Additive manufacturing may produce visible layer lines, support marks, colour variation and dimensional variation. Unless a tolerance is expressly agreed, reasonable manufacturing tolerances apply. Digital previews and photographs are illustrative; screen colours and final surface finish may vary.
Design, CAD and electronics work is delivered to the scope stated in the accepted quote. Changes outside scope may require a revised price and schedule. Prototype work is intended to support iteration and validation and is not automatically certified for safety-critical, medical, automotive, aerospace or regulated use.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Taxes are applied only where legally applicable and will be shown before payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Production may not begin until cleared payment is confirmed. We do not store full card details.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. We will provide available tracking information when an order ships. Risk passes on delivery or collection. Please inspect goods promptly and notify us of transit damage or missing items as soon as reasonably possible.
Many products are manufactured to your specification and may fall within the exception for personalised or custom-made goods. Once design work or manufacturing has started, cancellation may not be possible and reasonable work already completed may be chargeable. This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or unsatisfactory goods or services.
Contact us with the order reference, photographs and a description of the issue. Where goods or services do not meet the contract or applicable statutory standards, we will assess the appropriate remedy, which may include correction, reprint, repair, replacement, partial refund or refund.
You retain rights in material you provide. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we retain rights in our pre-existing methods, libraries, templates, know-how and general tooling. Ownership and permitted use of newly commissioned design outputs will follow the accepted quote or written project agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate customer files or instructions, unauthorised use, unsuitable application, modification after delivery, or use outside an agreed specification. Business customers should ensure they have appropriate testing, certification and insurance for the intended application.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights and jurisdiction protections that apply to them.
Tell us what you are building, printing or trying to solve. We will send a confirmation and reply from the Dapper team.
